New Addition!


That's right guys we have another little intro person on the way! We had the Ultrasound on Tuesday. We got to hear the heart beat which we were told was a strong heart beat. And got the all good so far. I know I have already been through this, but I forgot how cool the ultrasounds can be. I just amazes me.
On the training front I have been running and exercising, but my feet are in serious pain. I went to my appointment on tues. after the ultrasound and I was told I would have to drop another $280 for another pair of custom orthodics. They do not guarantee them for any time frame. They just tell you how long they should last. So of course I will have to wait till next month to purchase a new pair. I know I shouldn't just on principle. But they worked great when they were not worn out. For the time being I have been able to add a band aide to the problem. I purchased these over the counter memory foam inserts and they seem to help correct the problem for the short term. So I will have to take it easy and just tough it out till I can get a new pair. Genetics why do thee hate me so much. Anyways that's it. I hope everyone is happy and healthy.

Where have you been

I know it's been a while since my last post. I am still running. I did a 5k today and the past couple of days. Worked on my hill training as usual on Sat. at Mendon Ponds Park(Even though I really did not want to). My times have not been where I would like them. Mainly because my thighs are killing me lately on my runs and my custom shoe inserts have already broken down. In less then a year! 5 years my backside. I do have an appointment to get my feet remolded next week so I can get a new pair. I can actually feel my left foot rolling again like it did before I got them. I just feels weird. Well that's about it. I hope everyone is happy and healthy.

Oh those stomach problems

Well I managed to get in my 5 mile run. But lets just say the tummy almost made it one of my most embarrassing ones. I know I know why did he go there. Basically so you guys can have a laugh at my expense. Besides that I went to the gym today and worked on the old core and legs. That's about it. Do not forget to go over to Jonathan's blog and wish him good luck at the RnR Half Marathon. I hope everyone is happy and healthy.

Pretty good sure as your born

I know I have used that title before, but it's my favorite attraction at WDW so I wanted to use it again. Got in another 5 miler today. My stomach tightened up right off the bat and did not semi loosen up until I had gone about 2 miles. Thank god it did because I was going to call it at 2 if it did not. I forgot to weigh in yesterday. I did today and I am down to 210.8 lbs. So I am pretty excited that I am starting to take the weight back off. And for those who are wondering what happened. Why did I gain so much weight back. Well it's because I let myself go after the 1/2 at Disney and I brought those eating habits back home with me. But it looks like I have it under control again. Well that's it. I hope everyone is happy and healthy.

Soreness

I can not understand why I am so sore and feeling dragged down when I run lately. I just don't seem to have the energy like I had last year. I am going to look into my diet to see if that is where the answer lies. I put in another 5 miler today. I have not been happy with my time as of late. Mind is willing, but again the body is fighting back. And I have been running every other day instead of everyday to give my body a rest. After my run I went to the gym and lets just say my muscles just did not have it today. I worked on my upper body and my core. Well that's really about it. I hope everyone is happy and healthy.

Just an update

Well I did my 6mile hill training on Sunday at Mendon Ponds Park. I tell ya I really wish I had someone to run with me here. The guy I used to run with was down sized at work and now I barely talk with him anymore. Oh well I will just keep pushing a long. I am also down 1.2 lbs. since last week. So now I am at 212.8 lbs. I ended up getting a digital scale instead of the old analog one I have had. I kept getting different readings every time I stepped on it and it never went back to zero. So I said what the hey and got me a new fancy pantsy digital one. Seems pretty accurate. Well that's about it. I hope everyone is happy and healthy.

One tuff run

Man today the mind and the body were in agreement with each other. They kept saying STOP RUNNING! Right off the bat my body did not want to move. And my breathing was uncontrollable. But luckily my will to continue was louder. It said you need to just keep moving forward. And that's what I did. Ended up with 4.26 miles when I was done. So I am pretty happy with that. Went to the gym afterwards. I am going to try a new core/abs regiment. I have not been happy with the results of what I have been doing. So I am going to switch it up and see what happens.
